JDM Investment Counsel is a money management firm that provides everything you expect from the big Wall Street firms but never seem to get.

Erick Zanner, Chief Investment Officer, started JDM Investment Counsel to create and build value in the financial lives of people and organizations. JDM Investment Counsel’s purpose is to extract capital from the markets on behalf of the clients.

And it is done with a high level of personal service that big firms don’t provide.
It seems to work.

Erick Zanner has 37 years of investment management, bond trading, client management and new business development experience.  While at Morgan Stanley, Erick developed an advisory practice with assets in excess of $70 million. Erick joined SmithBarney in August of 2001 for the specific purpose of using their discretionary portfolio management platform to develop a five year track record as a portfolio manager.  At SmithBarney he was sought out by other SB financial consultants to manage their client assets resulting in assets under management in excess of $140 million.  In 2008, Erick chose to leave the world of large investment companies to do what he has always wanted: manage funds in the fashion he feels is best for the client - not what is best for the big firm.

Erick is also an Executive Adjunct Professor at Capital University in the School of Business Administration. For more information about Capital, please go to Capital.edu.
